SIM stands for Structure Information Manager. It allows you to simply compile field reports as well as synchronising the collected data between a centralised database server and its interface.

To explain further, the SIM Pole is a high definition (HD) pole camera system that has a powerful optical zoom and wireless interface to a PC or tablet for photo, video and audio recordings that are linked to inspection forms
which can be then processed into full pdf reports. Initially developed for bridges and drainage inspections, this system can be easily adapted to other types of inspection depending on the client need. Importantly, forms can be readily customised to meet back-end and corporate system requirements as needed.

The SIM Pole Camera Software:

The SIM Pole Camera’s software can work with or without the pole camera external hardware. For example, the inspection software can be used independently of the external hardware, using the tablet camera and other sensors such as inclinometers and GPS.

Our Structure Information Manager (SIM) software is multi-platform and can be used on PC, laptop or tablet. The feature-rich software is entirely customisable. Connectivity to corporate and third party database server systems protocol is also available. Alternatively you can utilise our own back end system to create your inspection report in a few clicks.
