Automated Reporting Application
A smart automated reporting application for use by Government and private industry, which can be tailored for a variety of types of reporting.
Transitioning from Manual to Electronic Data Capture:
To establish a fully automated data collection system, we must first shift processes from manual to electronic data capture. Subsequently, we should proceed to design and implement a data storage and analysis capability.
Leveraging Smart Devices for Data Reporting:
Our reporting application is specifically designed for use on smart devices. These devices not only store data as it’s input but also seamlessly transfer it to the data storage system whenever a 3G or better signal becomes available.
Enhancing Data Collection with Wireless Sensors:
For an efficient data capture process, consider the installation of wireless sensors on equipment. This step allows for a continuous stream of data directly to the application, significantly improving data collection.
Data Mining for Improvement:
Incoming data can undergo comprehensive analysis to identify potential issues or avenues for improvement. This applies across various applications, including vessels, aircraft, land-based vehicles, and more.
Streamlining Inspection Initiatives:
As an alternative approach, the data analysis can be forwarded to another location, such as an office or a nearby government official. This facilitates inspections of vehicles or vessels in a more streamlined and efficient manner.
Users can each have their own login credentials and access to specified parts of the application depending on their level of access authorised. We can determine which software will provide the best solution for management of user accounts.

An example of one industry this reporting application is suitable for is the fishing industry. Fisheries can log their boat registration details, the details of the catches they have made along with the location of each boat. The individual fishers can take photographs of each catch through the application if necessary. The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) can then monitor these details to ensure that commercial fisheries are staying within their fishing limits, thereby allowing for a sustainable fishing environment.
